Lt. General Arlen "Dirk" Jameson

Lt. General Dirk Jameson served as Deputy Commander in Chief and Chief of Staff of U.S. Strategic Command before retiring from the U.S. Air Force in 1996 after more than three decades of active service. Gen. Jameson was responsible for directing the headquarters staff of 4,000 men and women and participating in numerous nuclear forums with the leaders of the Russian Federation Strategic Rocket Forces.

Hans M. Kristensen
Director of the Nuclear Information Project at the Federation of American Scientists

Hans M. Kristensen provides the public with analysis and background information about the status of nuclear forces and the role of nuclear weapons. He specializes in using the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) in his research and is a frequent consultant to and is widely referenced in the news media on the role and status of nuclear weapons. His collaboration with researchers at NRDC in 2010 resulted in an estimate of the size of the U.S. nuclear weapons stockpile that was only 13 weapons off the actual number declassified by the U.S. government.

Jon B. Wolfsthal
Deputy Director of the James Martin Center for Nonproliferation Studies at the Monterey Institute for International Studies

From 2009-2012, Jon Wolfsthal served as the Special Advisor to Vice President Joseph R. Biden for nuclear security and nonproliferation and as a director for nonproliferation on the National Security Council. He helped support the development of nuclear policy including through the 2010 Nuclear Posture Review and other elements of the Obama Administration's security policies. He was previously a senior fellow at the Center for Strategic and International Studies and deputy director for nonproliferation at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace.

Director of Nuclear Non-Proliferation, Center for Arms Control and Nonproliferation

Kingston Reif is the Director of Nuclear Non-Proliferation at the Center for Arms Control and Non-Proliferation, where his work focuses on nuclear weapons, arms control, nuclear nonproliferation, preventing nuclear terrorism, missile defense, and the defense budget. He is an expert on the legislative process and closely monitors Congressional action on nuclear weapons policy, budgets, and related issues.
