Cain Farmer started his nonprofit accounting career in 1997 as the first in-house accountant of the premier chapter of the Make-A-Wish Foundation, MAW of Metro New York. Since that time, he’s worked for several DC-area nonprofits including the Pulmonary Hypertension Association and the Hearing Loss Association. Most recently, Cain was with the Population Health Alliance (formerly Care Continuum Alliance), where he helped provide support and inspiration to the burgeoning like-missioned DMAI, the Disease Management Association of India. Serving supportive accounting and administrative roles in organizations that do good work has always been important in his career. For enjoyment, Cain looks no further than enjoying the company of good friends in Old Town, Alexandria, VA and downtown Baltimore.
