Isabel Martinez is the Program Coordinator and Office Manager for the Center for Arms Control and Non-Proliferation. As Program Coordinator, she runs the congressional briefing program working to educate Hill staffers and Members of Congress on national and international security issues. Isabel also works directly for the Executive Director, assisting the Controller with data entry related to contributions, managing grants, and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the office.
Prior to working at the Center, Isabel graduated from Catholic University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Politics. Isabel has held internships at the U.S. House of Representatives, the Texas State Senate, a South Texas nonprofit providing affordable housing, and is a former Center intern. While interning with the Center, she explored her interest in the connection between nuclear weapons and climate change.
