S.Korean Intelligence: N. Korea Preparing Nuclear Test
As expected, North Korea is apparently preparing for its third nuclear test, according to South Korean intelligence officials. This is in line with typical North Korean behavior — in the past, it has tested missiles first followed by a nuclear test witnessed in 2006 and 2009.
North Korea’s Planned Rocket Launch Update
South Korea’s YTN reports North Korea may launch its Kwangmyeongseong-3 rocket on April 14th, weather permitting. The North is expected to hold a parliamentary session on April 13th to anoint Kim Jong-un and celebrate its founder Kim Il-sung’s 100th birthday on April 15th. YTN reports, the North is allowing international media to arrive on April 12th.
