In the News: House Appropriations Allocates Additional Nuclear Security Funds

House Appropriations National Nuclear Security Administration budget allocates almost $160 million for Nuclear Smuggling Detection & Deterrence in 2020: around 10% more than the $140 million recommended by the White House. It remains to be seen which numbers will make it into the final National Defense Authorization Act in the coming weeks.
