The “intruders” who jumped the fence at a nuclear reactor in Sunol on Wednesday, July 10th 2019, were two California teenagers. The teens jumped the fence “into the Vallecitos property, [but] they never got near any of the high-security area within the facility” according to local police. The facility does have highly enriched uranium (HEU) on site, raising nuclear security concerns.
