The Nuclear Threat Initiative (NTI) along with the Center for Nonproliferation Studies (CNS) release the annual Global Incidents and Trafficking Database

The annual Global Incidents and Trafficking Database, produced for NTI by the Center for Nonproliferation Studies highlights the importance of continued nuclear security. The report found more than 170 incidents of nuclear and other radioactive materials outside of regulatory control, across 14 countries in 2017. The database and report include several interactives to indicate the severity of various material loss and recommendations regarding increased physical security and reporting standards.
