Monica Montgomery is a Research Analyst for the Center for Arms Control and Non-Proliferation, where she focuses on national security issues in Congress, nuclear arms control and non-proliferation, and the Pentagon budget.
Prior to joining the Center, Monica worked as the Program Assistant for Nuclear Disarmament and Pentagon Spending at the Friends Committee on National Legislation. She has also previously worked as a research and office assistant at the Kroc Institute for International Peace Studies and as an intern at the Arms Control Association and in the district office of former Senator Bob Corker.
Monica graduated cum laude from the University of Notre Dame with a B.A. in political science and peace studies and a certificate in international security studies. She was awarded the Yarrow Award in Peace Studies, given annually to a graduating student who demonstrates academic excellence and a commitment to peace and justice.
