Today on CNN’s opinion blog, Center chairman Lt. Gen. Robert Gard and Council board member Brig. Gen. John Johns offer some wise words on Pentagon spending. The two generals argue that “America needs political resolve to kill unnecessary and expensive projects,” including an oversized nuclear weapons arsenal, the F-35 joint strike fighter, and other “new toys that are kept in the garage.”
