Policy Analyst James McKeon spoke to Voice of America about the upcoming second summit between President Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un.
One of the biggest accomplishments in Hanoi would be to hand off the nuclear negotiations to specialists, said James McKeon, a policy analyst at the Center for Arms Control and Non-Proliferation.
“The two leaders of the countries can’t solve everything themselves,” McKeon says. “I don’t think they have a thorough enough understanding to be able to take care of some of these really complex issues that you’re going to need scientists on, you’re going to need technical experts on.” Read more
