CNN publishes piece by Board Member, Richard Klass on Iran Deal

The United States and its negotiating partners reached a very strong framework agreement with Iran in Lausanne, Switzerland, on Thursday that limits Iran’s nuclear program in such a way as to effectively block it from building a nuclear weapon.

Agreement Achieved on a Framework Deal to Prevent a Nuclear-Armed Iran

According to reports, the P5+1 world powers have reached a agreement on a framework of a final deal to prevent a nuclear-armed Iran.
The Center for Arms Control and Non-Proliferation and its sister organization, Council for a Livable World, commend the U.S. and its negotiating partners for this breakthrough on the way to a comprehensive and peaceful resolution to one of the world’s most critical security challenges.
